FIFA World Cup 2026: Every Celebrity We Have Spotted So Far and We Are Not Done

Week one of the 2026 FIFA World Cup is done and the celebrity sighting list has already gotten very long. We are keeping a running tab. Here is everything so far.

The Opening Ceremonies: June 11 and 12

Mexico City kicked things off on June 11 with Shakira performing the official anthem “Dai Dai” alongside J Balvin, while Andrea Bocelli and KPOP Demon Hunters star EJAE performed together and Danny Ocean made history as the first Venezuelan artist to perform at a World Cup opening ceremony.

Salma Hayek was also there in her role as FIFA World Cup 2026 Ambassador, taking the pitch to welcome fans.

In Los Angeles on June 12, Katy Perry closed the US opening ceremony in a dazzling silver dress, performing “Wonder” alongside Tius Luka. Future, Tyla, Anitta, and LISA also hit the stage before her.

In Toronto the same night, Alanis Morissette performed the Canadian national anthem while Michael Bublé sang a cover of Sam Cooke’s “Bring It On Home to Me” dressed in a sharp black suit, American flag in hand.

The LA Stands Were a Whole Hollywood Event

David Beckham received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier that same day, with Tom Cruise among those paying tribute. The two then headed to the stadium together and were photographed signing autographs side by side in the stands while Victoria Beckham joined them.

The three were deep in conversation and fans around the stadium absolutely lost it when Cruise and Beckham started signing t-shirts and taking selfies together. Multiple people described the scene as feeling “like a movie set.” Which, in LA, tracks

Also in attendance for USA vs Paraguay: Paris Hilton, Tobey Maguire, Rob Lowe, Sofia Vergara, Owen Wilson, Jamie Foxx, Shaboozey, Becky G, Jafaar Jackson, and NFL quarterback Jaxson Dart.

New Jersey: June 13

Tom Brady flew in with his daughter Vivian to catch Brazil vs Morocco at NY NJ Stadium on June 13, right after celebrating his son Jack’s high school graduation. Timothée Chalamet was also spotted in the Tequila Don Julio 1942 suite at the same venue.

Philadelphia: June 14

Jay-Z was photographed sipping champagne in a private box during Ivory Coast vs Ecuador at Philadelphia Stadium on June 14. Effortless, as always. He was also photographed walking onto the field during Ecuador’s match.

The Week Continues: Nicki Minaj, Patrick Mahomes and More

Nicki Minaj has since been added to the list of celebrities attending World Cup events, and Patrick Mahomes has been spotted at matches during the group stage week as well. Travis Scott, LeBron James, Channing Tatum, and Jason Sudeikis have also been confirmed as attendees across multiple group stage matches this week.

One More Thing Worth Noting

Kim Kardashian starred in a Nike World Cup ad alongside her son Saint West, 10, who is apparently a massive football fan. The ad declared summer 2026 the “summer of dreams.” Saint West is the real celebrity here, honestly.

The World Cup runs until July 19. Shakira and Burna Boy are confirmed to reunite for the halftime show at the final. The celebrity list will only grow from here. We will keep updating this one.
