Love Island USA Season 8 Is Already Giving Us Everything and We Are Not Ready
Love Island USA Season 8 premiered on June 2, 2026 exclusively on Peacock, and within the first ten days the show has already delivered confessions, chaos, and a vote so popular it broke the app. Welcome back to Fiji.
Who Is Actually in the Villa Right Now?
The original islanders entering the villa on day one were Aniya Harvey from Georgia, Beatriz Hatz from San Diego, Bryce Dettloff from LA, KC Chandler from Fresno, Kenzie Annis from Georgia, Melanie Moreno from LA, Sean Reifel from Pennsylvania, Sincere Rhea from New Jersey, Trinity Tatum from Virginia, and Zach Georgiou from Birmingham, England.
The storylines are already stacking. Beatriz opened up about dating a man 20 years older than her, Gabriel shared that he once slept with a 52-year-old woman and called her “hot as f*** for her age,” and the narrator compared him to a “reverse Leonardo DiCaprio.”
And then there’s Sean Reifel, who quit the Bethlehem police force to film Love Island USA, which sparked outrage from the city’s mayor and police chief. No notes. Just chaos. (He’s been voted out unfortunately. . The former Bethlehem, PA police officer was the first contestant eliminated on Season 8 of “Love Island USA”. He was dumped from the villa after lasting just six days)

How to Vote on Love Island USA Season 8
Voting is only accessible through the official Love Island USA app, available on Android and iOS. You cannot vote on the Peacock website or through social media. You must be at least 18 years old, physically located in the US, and registered with a valid US phone number.
Voting is completely free. Each registered account gets one vote per round and once you tap, you cannot change it, so choose wisely.
Fan enthusiasm for the first vote of the season was so strong it crashed the app entirely, and Peacock extended the voting window to give everyone a fair chance. Chaotic but honestly very on brand
You can download the Love Island USA app from the App Store or Google Play. New episodes drop every night except Wednesdays at 9pm ET on Peacock.
The Villa Confession Nobody Asked For But Needed
This is the part that has been living rent free in everyone’s head this week.
Former Season 6 islander Kaylor Martin went on TikTok and revealed what actually goes on behind the scenes when 12 people are living together in a hot villa with no escape. She described the fart situation as “crop-dusting”; sneakily walking past people and letting it go while clenching.
Her exact words: “It is Clench Island.”
She also explained the high-protein meals producers serve make things significantly worse, and that bad breath is a constant problem.
“You’re kissing all the time and sometimes people have bad breath and you just have to keep quiet.”
