The HAIM sisters joined Taylor Swift courtside at the Knicks Game

Taylor Swift had performed at the Toy Story 5 world premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday night and still made it to Madison Square Garden in New York the following evening for Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Coast to coast. One night. No days off.

Taylor Swift sat courtside at Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs wearing a blue t-shirt that read “Stevie Knicks” in orange lettering. She was joined by Este and Alana Haim; two thirds of the sister trio HAIM; who matched her energy in their own pun shirts: “Knickole Kidman” and “Knickleback.” The commitment to the bit was total.

Mariska Hargitay, Law and Order SVU star and lifelong Knicks courtside regular, was also in the group. She and Taylor Swift were caught on camera celebrating wildly together after the Knicks’ comeback win. The two have been friends for years — Hargitay was the inspiration for Taylor’s famous cat name, Olivia Benson.

Now for the subplot. Scooter Braun; one half of one of music’s most public feuds was sitting only a few rows directly behind Taylor Swift, on a date with Sydney Sweeney.

Sources confirmed to TMZ that despite being within close distance, Taylor and Scooter did not cross paths and there were no interactions between them whatsoever.

The internet, naturally, had thoughts. “Scooter Braun sitting rows back while she’s courtside is a little poetic.”

“I know she senses an evil presence in that room.”

“TAYLOR DO NOT TURN AROUND.”

ESPN analyst Monica McNutt did take a shot at the appearance, calling Taylor a fake Knicks fan on air. Swifties responded accordingly.

The Knicks trailed by 29 points at halftime and won by one on a tip-in in the final seconds — completing the largest comeback in NBA Finals history. Taylor Swift was on her feet. Mariska Hargitay was on her feet.

Reports of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding have been reaching a fever pitch, with TMZ and Page Six both insisting the ceremony will take place at Madison Square Garden in early July. If that happens, she’ll know the venue very well by then.

The Knicks lead the series 3-1. Game 5 is in San Antonio. Whether Taylor Swift makes the trip to Texas remains to be seen. The shirt situation alone is worth the airfare.
